This Mini Stereo Amplifier is suitable for Gadgets

Audio power amplifier discussed this time I think is quite capable when paired for gadgets such as PCs, laptops, and smartphones. This amplifier is low power and can be powered by 3 to 12 Volt DC power. This amplifier uses only one active component, the TEA2025B IC. This stereo audio amplifier can be a suitable choice to assemble homemade or the term "DIY", to be a mini stereo amplifier.

TEA2025B is an IC that contains two power amplifiers that can be used for stereo 2 Watts + 2 Watts or bridge power to get more power, with voltage gain ranging from 43 dB to 53 dB. What is interesting is that the input impedance is high (30 KOhm) so that it does not overload the circuit behind it. The power emitted depends on the working voltage and load of the speakers used. For example, when given a voltage of 9 Volts with a speaker of 4 Ohms can be generated power 1.7 to 2.3 Watts (per channel). However, if using a voltage of 6 Volts, the power obtained maximum 1 Watt (per channel).

On the video you can see my DIY PCB, manually draw circuit using permanent marker. Manually etching with ferric chloride, and then PCB is drilled by mini drill.

The power supply I used in the trial was a Li-Ion 18650 3S Battery (3 Li-ion 18650 batteries assembled in series) and a holder to get a voltage of about 12V. This mini amp works well for mini speakers, I use two speakers with each measuring 2 inches in diameter (impedance 4 ohms). the surface of IC feels hot after a while of use, it is necessary to add heatsink when this amplifier is used for a long period of time.
